Use RTSP egress when the next device is a player, a recorder, or a wall that already pulls RTSP. The ingest can be anything Vasl accepts. The egress is what that device knows how to open. This is also how a camera that arrived over RTSP ingest, NDI, or SRT can leave toward a system that never learned WebRTC. Put a key or a signed link on the URL when the recorder is not on a closed network. See Security.
